All of a sudden I can't use kppp to start a ppp connection anymore. I haven't
changed anything recently (I know, but really I haven't) when last night I
tried to connect and I got some garbage in the kppp log window. I tried again
but then, and ever since then, I just get a message box popping up titled
Connecting to: Omnilink
and the message Sorry, the modem is not ready.
The modem is as ready as a boy scout - if I fire up minicom in a terminal window
it works just fine. Does anyone have any idea what flag file where has got its
knickers in a twist ?
