i had a private email with the person and essentially suggested she try
to:
get input from people in lug's (ilug for instance)
get course developers/presenters to participate on the mailing list
(answer/ask questions, little tutorials, etc.)
some of the sessions i saw at ilug were interesting, and i wouldn't mind
paying to go to them (in an expanded fashion) and getting some cert
saying i did so (and even a test at the end).
that would be more useful to me and any future employer. imnsho.
