I am trying to use David Sill's Qmail startup script. I have added
"nohup" before "supervise". The script ends immediately with the
"Done" message and will not start any of the Qmail's processes.
I have the qmail-smtpd-wrapper in /var/qmail/bin. After that, I have
issued following command as root.
$ mkdir -p /var/supervise/qmail/send
$ mkdir /var/supervise/qmail/smtpd
What should be the permissions on these directories be? Who should be
the owner of these directories?
The manual command,
$ csh -cf '/var/qmail/rc &'
Why should I look for in Dave Sill's startup script, to make it work?
Any pointers appreciated.
