ever wondered why you get those error messages about ppp-compress modules when you dial up to the internet??
weeeelllll - this'll fix it (and possibly speed up your connection?)

put the following lines in your /etc/conf.modules

alias ppp-compress-21 bsd_comp
alias ppp-compress-24 ppp_deflate
alias ppp-compress-26 ppp_deflate
