[ILUG] Apache and Perl

[ILUG] Apache and Perl

Hello all,
Its late and Im at my wits end....
I have a RedHat 6.0 installation running apache 1.3.6 and Im having a
problem getting mod_perl working on it.
Both Apache and Perl have been installed as part of the installation
process. I have even un and re installed both
well three, including Perl itself. But it doesnt seem to work.
I'm attempting to use Webmin 0.74 to configure apache but every time I
select the mod_perl module and click apply changes it reverts back to the
mod_perl box being unchecked.
I have edited the httpd.conf file and remover the # before the Load mod_perl
but after apache then fails to restart, throwing up various errors saying
that there are lines in http.conf, srm.conf and access.conf that it doesnt
understand.
Anyone have any ideas?

Best Regards
Robert
