In the short term we need more volunteers to take care of the site. I've
talked to many people about websites and they're under the misguided
impression that websites are easy to create and simple to maintain. Of
course we all recognise the ignorance of this.
Right now, there are a number of people who have nice cute linux.ie
email addresses. Some of those people are active and help by posting to
the ILUG, but we don't hear from others at all. There are over 500
people on this list now, I'm sure some of you would like an @linux.ie
email address wouldn't you? Perhaps there should be a policy of removing
linux.ie addresses from those inactive members?
*.linux.ie could be so much better with all the talent we have on the
list.
If there is a F2F, I'll certainly try and make it up to Dublin for it..
Donncha.
