Silly me .
This doesn't sound very plausible as according
to Thomas J Allen , the eircell head of technical policy.
"Eircell is fully committed to ensuring that date changes for the Year
2000 (Y2K) have no impact on our systems and the services we provide to our
customers.
We have a Y2K Project team, representing all facets of the company,
who are currently involved in ensuring that our Products and Services are
Y2K ready."
Thomas J Allen
Head of Technical Policy
Following the link to
http://www.eircell.ie/htm/oneir/company/y2k/index.htm
you can see that eircell has no millenium problem anymore.
Its totally fixed. Must have been a lone jcb as y2k testing is
surely over at this stage >:-))
