[ILUG] Venue for Dublin meeting in December

John P . Looney valen at tuatha.org
Mon Nov 22 10:10:32 GMT 1999

On Mon, Nov 22, 1999 at 08:49:02PM -0000, Frank Duignan mentioned:
> A while ago I offered to help organise a venue for a Dublin face to face around
> christmas in DIT, Kevin St. While I am still happy to do this, I have had no
> response from anyone as to whether the offer is to be taken up. If the meeting is
> on and is to be held in Kevin St can someone confirm this as organising rooms
> etc. is a non-trivial task which requires advanced planning. Kevin St. would typically
> only have rooms available on weekday evenings by the way (up to 10pm), or, at a push,
> Saturday mornings.
> Cheers

Smeg. My mail server was acting up when i sent a reply to this the first
time, sorry. Myself and Ken Guest decided that December the 4th was fine,
and that we'll be there to help out on the day. Book a big 100 people+ room
& two or three smaller ones, and we'll see can we get some people to host
some "Bird of a feather" groups in them. Book them for say 4 hours,
starting at 14:30 or so. More can be organised closer to the day.
