From what I understand, the 2D part of GeForce is so similar
to the TNT/TNT2 cards that the beta XFree86 should work on
that, too. The 3D part is still a bit tricky, but people have
had luck using the latest glx+NVidia's own GL library.
I've tried compiling X, but I just end up with a few programs
and all the libraries; still can't seem to build any kind of
server or driver modules.
