That's the 8139 though ... your average PCI NE2K with a Realtek chipset is
an 8029 which is a reasonable chipset, maybe not the best, but a lot more
stable under ALL OS's that I've tried than a certain incarnation of the 3Com
PCI cards (can't remember which one though)
