I couldn't get this working for ages either but I was bored at the
weekend and read some of the comments on /. about the Q3 test and there
was a few links to the GLX homepage at http://glx.on.openprojects.net/
which has drivers for various cards, including the TNT.
I downloaded the src.RPM version but it didn't compile the tnt driver by
default so I just extracted the tar.gz file out of it and compiled it
manually. Do a ./configure --help and look at some of the nice
optimizations! You can specify which chipset (tnt in your case) as well
as including x86 asm.. then make and make install as root. Restart your
X server and load Q3test by pointing it at /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1 or
somewhere.. read the README
Donncha.
