I'm working on coming up with some things to determine people's knowledge of C++ in interviews at the moment. I'm looking at the obvius stuff like classes, inheritance, polymorphism and class design. I'm wondering if anybody has inverviewed for C++ positions before and what you do generally. I was thinking of getting them to look at some code and get their opinions on it, i.e. spot the bugs and whats happening here etc. Thats probably a bit over the top though and I'd just be a bit of a bastard I think. Mail me here at this address if you have any ideas please.
Thanks,
Noel
PS, I'd know pretty quickly myself if somebody knows they're stuff or not but its my boss who wants to know. I think I'll talk him into letting me sit in maybe if I can spare the time.
