Yeah, I have that on my RH61 machine at home as well -- it's intensely
annoying, espesh when E is making noises; it causes a click before every
window move or menu popup. I'm running RH61 as well, with an ESS Solo
on-the-motherboard sound chipset.

I did a web search for "esd sound click", but without luck.

BTW how many ILUGgers went to the ESR talk last night?  Next time, we need
nametags with email addresses on them I think ;)
