[ILUG] TV Card

Anyone had any luck setting one up 
i can get the TV channels but no sound 
I have a creative vibra 15 card (piece of crap)
there is a cable from the soundcard to the line out on the sound card
in windows there is a separate driver for the sound on the card

any ideas

its a hauppage WinTV Theater model 498 and uses the bt484 driver i think

help please i need one more reason not to use windows
