> Compile X & glx" ;)

Hang on a sec.

I compiled and had XFree86 3.9.16 running, and running fairly stable! (Ok
I was board, and wanted some thing interesting to do) only for a bug that
would crash the gnome help browser when logging on as root. I just
mindlessly compiled it according to the 1st part of the manual. Then ran
xfreeconf (yes the text one!) I'm running RH 6.1 and it only took 3/4 of
an hour on a Cel 450 w/ 128Mb of RAM.

I will compile glx soon though I know what my problem is and am on to the
glx user list about it. I'll do a little tut on what I've done if it's
any help to you.

Does any one know another version of jade other that the one from
SGMLtool's. That's my problem when I compile glx.

Cya.
