I downloaded a Slackware Linux distribution on use for my home pc, and
whenever I install it ,firstly I can`t seem to boot it and get an error
saying
Warning :Unable to open initial console
Kernel Panic:No init found. try passing init= option to kernel
secondly after this happened, when I went back to windows, I looked at the
directory in explorer and the files
were all corrupted and I couldn`t delete the directory. Files were renamed
to messages like "backdoor opened" and "Haxors rule!". Is this the work of a
Virus of somesort? I ran NORTON'S ANTIVIRUS but I couldn`t find anything.I
managed to delete the directory after running Norton's disk doctor.I`f
Anyone could help me get it installed or has any information on what
happened , I would be Grateful.
