  I've got a TNT2 here, rpm'ng install the drivers and the opengl thing
work
  fine if of course you remember to run 'ldconfig' after installing.
   The opengl stuff was really for the TNT2, so donno it it'll work
  with the older tnt.

  Yes, it can do that (+set r_glDiver <path to driver>)
  or it'll get it from the ld path.  Mine works fine with q3 1.07|1.08

   not really a work around.  Standard unix stuff really.
