Ah - this should be amusing for some of ye at least. I have a GigaByte
6BXD 440BX motherboard and I was trying to upgrade the bios. The patch
seemed to apply all right but now the computer can't boot at all
whatsoever. When it turns on, the speaker just beeps at me and stays
blank. I'm presuming the bios is trashed but I don't see where I can
recover it either. Does anyone have this board or know what to do with it
when the bios is frigged on it? I know some of the Intel boards are able
to boot a floppy even when the bios is totally gone but I don't see a
similar option on the GigaByte board. Any ideas what I need to do?
