[ILUG] Linux on an ibook??

Yellow Dog,
Have a new rev comming out some time this quarter aimed at
consumers.
It should support the iBook.

Getting Linux to run on it at the moment is slightly dodgy as Apple have
redesigned the ASIC's on the mother board so that it would comply to it's
modular Single Unified Common Architecture standards.

You also may find that any version previous to MacOS 9, wont run on the new
iBook or Kiehi iMacs due to the redesign.

Regards,
	Mark.

Subject: [ILUG] Linux on an ibook??

Does anyone know the level of difficulty involved in installing linux on
an ibook? I've been looking at yellow dox linux, but there's nothing
there specifically about the apple ibook. I know that in general
installing Linux on laptops per-se is a b*llox, can anyone give me some
advice plz?
Joanne
