Hi,
I've tried installing RedHats Linux (6.0) on my laptop. I partitioned the
HD with the swap and the native (getting rid of the dos partition). The install
failed when it hung trying to detect my mouse (nipple type in centre of keys).
So, now when I try booting it sayes "No OS found" !!!! I've tried using a Dos
Boot Disk, but FDISK sayes it can find no fixed partitions. SO...... I'm stuck!
BTW, installing a different version of Linux is out 'coz I have a swappable
floppy and CDROM, so I can't install from the CDROM or HD ('coz I can't see the
HD to copy the files over!!!!!) Doh!
Any help appreciated!
Please reply to my e-mail address (as well as the list) 'coz I haven't
subscribed
Cheers
Steve
