[dburke at hoth dburke]$ netstat -a |grep -ic CLOSE
3418
As you can see from the above command, at the moment I have 3418
connections at the close stage. This behavior (I think) is caused by a
patch I have applied into the kernel. Unfortunately removing this patch is
not an option and obhiously I don't want to have to reboot the server
every night to clear these connections.
Is there away to clear all these connections without having to reboot the
server? Or if I leave things the way they are will I run into any
problems?
