Netware people seem to get very attached to NDS.  By all
accounts it is _really_ good for managing large networks and
user populations.  I guess you could describe it as NIS on
steroids.

I haven't used it myself (my last encounter with Netware being
3.12), but I soon will as I'll be setting up a Netware 5 server
for test purposes.
