yes ...
on occasion we have "guests" from HQ in the US of A who like like most
like to be able to read their mail (from an NT box which occasionaly
has Exchange running) from places other than their desks. The completely
non-elegant but failsafe solution Iwhich Ive used to get their mail was to
frun fetchmail from a local (linux) account using either pop3 or imap
depending on the user.
From what Iv seen exchange is just a crappy implimentation of imap and/or
an okish pop server. so there shouldnt be any problems beyond those you
might expect.
