Would it not be easier to run a remote X-window on your windows system ? You
can get software such as eXeed, vnc and xwin32 via which you will have an
Xdesktop from the server running in a window on your local windows machine.

Subject: [ILUG] Xterminals
I have just recently found out how excellent xterminals
are....
iv been running a redhat 6.1 p75 24mb ram without a moniter
and a lack of x
is annoying so i overheard in #linux about xterminals
so i did as they said installed X win pro on my windows
machine
telnet to my linux machine and ran the command
export DISPLAY="192.168.0.2:0" ( Thats my windows
mahcine)
then i typed xterm , netscape and they were all popping up
grand... was
brilliant..
i then tried kde... seemed to work ok a few problems but ok.
More to the point i was wondering is it possible to export
all displays
to my windows machine somehow...
and so when i run startx or xdm it all comes to my winodws
machine...
right now it tries to startx on my linux machine...
anyone any ideas?
that would be great
thanks n advance
