I have a (pretty much) stock RH6.1 box here (I've upgraded gnome to the latest version,
and enlightenment to 0.16... I'm just looking at gtop's listing of resident sizes,
and xmms is running at 32592k resident... (it has 6 processes)

It has a 559 song playlist, but is this normal? Can I recompile it with better options?

Oh and on the subject of USB, anyone know what happens if you plug two USB machines into the
same hub (so they can see the same stuff on the bus?).. I think you can do it with SCSI
, but I dunno with USB?
