When he mentioned Bob, I hissed and cringed, and the girlfriend was all
concerned, and wanted to know all about Bob, and why he can make grown men

Didn't tell her much, in case the next time I want to play Tiberian Sun or
something, Bob is there, laughing at me. Great idea though. Bob had cool
security features like "You have typed your password incorrectly three
times. The password was 'blah'. Try again!".
