I just got a new 6490MB hard disk for my laptop, or so the bios
settings
tells me. When I load up fdisk on the other hand, I'm told its a ~6189MB
hard disk.
At least this is what I have calculated given that it displays
789 cylinders of 16065 * 512 bytes.
Am I reading this incorrectly? Do I actually have the full whack? And if
not
can I get it back?
John.
