I switched to ProFTPD, and I'm switching back. While at RIPE34, I idly
checked the proftpd website, and found that the patched patch I was using
(pre3+hand edits) was *also* insecure. When I tried to install pre7,
it broke all my chrooted accounts on RH6, and wouldn't even compile on
Digital UNIX.
All FTP daemons suck. Right now I'm sitting on two broken (but
secure) servers; when it calms down, and I don't have another million
things occupying my time, I'll probably go back to WU.
