[ILUG] AIB 24hr Banking & Netscape 4.7

[ILUG] AIB 24hr Banking & Netscape 4.7

Mark Kelly markke at corel.ie
Fri Oct 22 14:14:45 IST 1999

I had similar problems before when netscape 4.6 was out
I had to email there technical team to inform them of this problem
although they said they were already on the problem I have my doubts.
Eventually they fixed it to allow Netscape 4.6

In regards to logging into the 24hr banking I rarely have a problem with speed and login
within seconds.

Mark.

> Well its really true, AIB 24hr. Banking on the web is complete CRAP!!! Not only does it take an age to get logged on the majority of the time, but since I've upgraded to Netscape 4.7, it won't let me log on at all saying that the site is best viewed using IE or, get this, NETSCAPE!! It tells me I've got Mozilla (netscape) 4.7 running on Linux 2.2.10 or at least thats the general gist of the message anyway. I've no interest in downgrading and I can't understand why the site should fsck up like that. ah well...
