I recently picked up the new ESAT Surffree CD and had a look, but couldn't find
the info needed to connect Linux to ESAT. I installed it on the Windows side of
my system, and it worked better than the Oceanfree. I currently have Oceanfree
set up on the Linux side, but lately, I've been getting busy signals each time I
try to connect. And Eircom seems to charge me 11.5p for each busy signal I
get!!!
I'm still new to Linux, and have a lot of set-up issues I need to resolve before
I can tell the family that the system is user friendly enough for general use.
Getting Internet access and E-Mail set-up is one of the big issues, but there
are lots of others as well. If someone has the info for setting up ESAT's
surffree, could we get this added to the site? Or could someone who knows what
questions to ask, give them a ring and get the information?
Cheers,
John Gay
