PNP eh? Why didn't you say that before? Perhaps Windows is telling
the modem which particular IRQ to use and, until, it's told this,
the modem might not be using the standard IRQ3 for COM2.
Let's see the output from the pnpdump command. That might give
enough info to configure the modem with isapnp.
