[ILUG] WIT SMARTCARDS

Hi all,

Just looking for information and giving some..
For those of you not in Waterford, WIT have introduced SMARTCARDS (i.e.
allowing students not to carry money, except in smatr card form...for
photocopiers/ shops/bank/ phones etc)....

Anyway, the controllers for the photocopiers are running a slimed down
linux kernel.
i was shocked when i saw LILO: Linux booting one morning...

anyone from WIT want to comment on it, and say if it is used any where
else?
