I'm buying a computer to act as a server - probably a Gateway. I want to
get a tape-drive at the same time. Red Hat's HCL suggests that most IDE
tape drives are supported. Anyone have experience to the contrary? The
drive in question is a Seagate 10/20GB TR5 IDE TBU.
Also, has anyone used a 3com 3c900b nic with Linux? SuSE say they're
problematic but doesn't give further details...
and finally, as they say, has anyone used an EICON ISDN adapter with
Linux?
Thanks,
Eoin
