I hope I'm not reposting an answer for a second time in error.
Try http://www.elcomsoft.com
They have a proggie that should do the trick (Word 97 & 2K)
The "free" dload is a trial version but should be ok. Let me know if it doesn't solve your problem. I know I have something here that will.
Trout season opened today so I'll be missing until Monday.

My apologies to all if there is a word wrap problem. I'm usually in the field thus use the Ireland.com mail software. I say this as there were a few complaints in the past.
