[ILUG] e-XPO - volunteers needed

[ILUG] e-XPO - volunteers needed

If we go ahead with a stand at e-XPO on May 10-11th (Wed-Thurs) we'll
need volunteers to man the stand. The show goes on from 11am to 7pm. I'm
told it's a very gruelling experience. You're on your feet all day,
maybe talking to people who haven't a clue, being nice to people who are
rude to you. In general, a tough job.

I think we need at least 6 people, probably 10 people to man the stand.
I'd like to find out today, or by the end of the week if we can gather
that much support, if not, then we should withdraw from the show and
concentrate our efforts elsewhere (LAID II or whatever?).

On another note, the scope.ie people are looking for promotional
material, if anyone can come up with something before lunch today mail
me and I'll forward it to their editor. It has to be to him before 2pm
today.

Donncha.
