Hi,
Without meaning to sound like an add for IT Direct,
I was in charge of the IT Lab in a secondary school
last year and found IT Direct to be excellent -
not only did they sell the network hub, cards and
cables, they also installed them for a reasonable
price (Win 95 based network).
Whether or not they would setup a Linux network,
or whether or not they would operate as far from
Dublin as Tipperary (no offence intended) I'm
not sure.
But there could be people on this list willing
to help install the network for you free of charge.
Me for one, but only as an "assistant" - network
installation is not my speciality (that's Mathematical
C programming).
Regards,
Cormac.
