 If you notice, for a service like "inet", which runs telnetd etc.

xena [0]  ls -l /etc/rc.d/*/*inet*
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root         1463 Sep 10  1999 /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc0.d/K50inet -> ../init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc1.d/K50inet -> ../init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc2.d/K50inet -> ../init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S50inet -> ../init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc4.d/S50inet -> ../init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S50inet -> ../init.d/inet
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Apr  4 19:54 /etc/rc.d/rc6.d/K50inet -> ../init.d/inet

 So, it looks like it would be cunning to put one in rc0.d, rc1.d, rc2.d
and rc6.d!
