Hrm, after some struggling with some drive incompatibilities, I found
myself playing around with hdparm and fiddling with some of the
non-dangerous flags on the disks, does anybody have any conventional wisdom
on this? Is there a listing of what general drives work better with what
settings?
Also, I also came across mention of WD and Maxtor drives feuding, has
anybody seen similar for IBM and Seagate drives?
