Show us the output of ifconfig and route -n
If you can't ping any machine and networking work's in windows on the same
box then your nic isn't set up right.
Have you read the Net3-4-HOWTO ??follow the instructions in that. I
thing Mandrake 7 dosen't come with them so get it off the LDP on
www.linux.org.
