Pretty cool but we can't trust these (or any counter). There is one
(not specific to any OS ) called OS Counter http://www.oscounter.org/,
which is "dedicated to finding out who runs what, where, and how much
they like it" - in May 1999, it showed Amiga as the most used OS!!!!
Even MS's records of sales mean nowt. How many immediately uninstall
windows after buying and install something else, and IMHO more
importantly how many have never paid for a license (like me, who
bought a computer without windows but has had 95,98 and probably
2000 at some stage in the future for free - no apologies either!)
