Unfortunately I definitely used the "make install20" command.  I've tried it several times since and its always the same error (so at least its consistent).

I know the drivers are supposed to work on Redhat, maybe they just aren't compatible with Mandrake (why that would be though I'm not sure).

Oh well I suppose I'll just have to stick to windows for music and multimedia...
