I have xpdf and Acroread installed on a box running SuSE 6.3 (kernel 2.2.13)
and while xpdf works fine, Acroread is a disaster. It crashes very often,
sometimes having first given a "Segment Violation Caught" alert box. As
mentioned, xpdf works fine but it doesn't support bookmarks (though Acroread
supports nothing as it is :-) ). Does anyone have any ideas what may be the
problem with Acroread ? It's version 4.0, and the About box further shows
