[ILUG] Mail Footers...

[ILUG] Mail Footers...

]Just wondering how to add a footer / disclaimer to the
]end of each mail delivered from a particular site.

This is generally done using a program called MIMESweeper. Basically,
MIMESweeper is used to search MIME encoded attachments for viruses. It also
has the ability to add that really annoying footer (such as the one that is
attached to this email). By default, this is turned on, but it CAN BE
TURNED OFF!!!!!!! Legal departments, for some reason, like this to be
attached to emails. I know of one company whose legal department made
everyone manually add the MIMESweeper text, 'cos they didn't have
MIMESweeper themselves. Either that, or they didn't know how to get
MIMESweeper to add the message.
