Why not use LILO? One of the suits at your company insisting on the W2K loader? You might want to consider Partition Magic 5.0. Another possibility might be Power Boot 3.x http://www.blueskyinnovations.com
Power Boot allows booting from any of up to 63 partitions, and if you add an HDD with a new OS it recognises it and can boot from it without any mods. Looks like a decent proggie for $25
If you're determined to use the W2K loader, I recall seeing a how-to of sorts at Linux Gazette that was very concise--even for a newbie like me.
