Well, I taught meself Perl - maybe not brilliantly, but well enough to
tinker - and the last language I'd used was BASIC, six years previously
(Windows? What's Windows?). But I guess you're right, Perl can be a little
awkward. Then again, the first time I tried the move from Perl to PHP I had
to give up - I just couldn't handle it. Says a lot for my programming skills
I guess. :)
