I have to agree... in a couple of years time when MS is just considered
one of the giants, rather than a giant, with the likes of AOL, etc up
there, they won't want to split up the gem of the US software
industry. Even if they do split MS up, who gets what.. the new mobile
phone applications go where.. the xbox goes where? The potential lawsuits
from non-european companies for breach of contract... it will be such a
mess that I'd say that no-one will go near a break-up.
