[ILUG] I've asked you once...

[ILUG] I've asked you once...

Well twice actually, but no point in wasting a good Python line...

Anyway, I've asked a couple of times now about modems and still ain't got an
answer, apart from "external". So I'll try once more - what's a good modem
for Linux? Ok, maybe "for Linux" isn't really required for external, so I'll
try it this way - what's a good modem? Make and model like? 3Com seem to get
some respect, how about one of them? Which one?

Damn the expense man (or woman), just please, someone, anyone, tell me
what's a good modem that lives up to the crap on the box? And where should I
buy it, in Cork?

Ta.
