*nods* I'm using an internal ISA "Mr Modem". Beyond the fact that it won't do
IRQs above 7 and Irish caller ID, it's been fairly decent.
While I have been burned with ISA WinModems a few years ago, I believe that
these days most WinModems are PCI (and vice versa).
On a related note, I was highly impressed to set up VMware with NT, let it see
ttyS3, install DUN and the remote access software and have it all work...
