Right all you RFC reading heads :-P,
I've got a laptop on an ethernet with DHCP, when I am on this network I
want the same IP address assigned to me the whole time, however I switch
between two or three net cards on my laptop (don't ask why :-), however
not all the laptop cards are mine, so other people also use them for DHCP
so I can't assign the ethernet addrs to my IP full time, can I get DHCP
to respond to a name? so anytime my laptop with the name radon plugs in it
get an IP??
Regards,
Dave.
