For simple (no offense) C questions there are many
places you could look
1) Find (and print) some webpages
   such as
http://www.orgchm.bas.bg/pub/GNU_Documentation/glibc/libc_toc.html
   is there a "canonical" version of the docs.
2) There may be info pages for glibc/libc on your system
3) Get a book!
